Top Picks From 2021: Level up your branding session with these three tips from a Boise Photographer.

The past 18-24 months have been a wild and crazy ride! We have moved navigated a global pandemic and moved across the county. To wrap up another wonderful year in my career, I am sharing with you three of the top tips that I came up with over the years. These are best practices to help you with your personal brand and online presence. As a Boise Branding Photographer, I’ll cover three important tips to level up each session that you can bring to 2022.

Here are the top three tips that can help your business grow in the coming year.

Adding The Brand Equation

As a branding photographer, I have learned there are three key components every client needs to infuse into their brand. Value, Vision, and Passion. They are the three components of The Brand Equation and will set you apart from your competition. My eight years as a branding photographer and growing my own personal brand have taught me some valuable lessons about each of these components.

The three components of the brand equation are values, vision, and passion or B=V + V + P . If you are curious about learning more about the branding equation, hop on over to my earlier blog post on the topic. http://shellyniehaus.com/the-brand-equation-2/

Building An Online Presence for Realtors and other business professionals  (also applicable to other industries too!)

In the current and post Covid-19 world every business and professional has realized that it is now more important than ever to have an online presence.  As a Boise branding photographer, a lot of my clients are Realtors.  Realtors who are investing in realtor branding sessions + building an online presence.  A personal branding session gives you high-quality, on-brand images that reflect the essence of who you are and communicate your zone of genius.

Amp up your SOI (Sphere of Influence) with your online presence.

Your sphere of influence is defined as the people in your personal and professional network with whom your opinion holds some weight.  You need to connect with your SOI regularly and your SOI is spending more and more time online.

Utilize the Power of Props.

Props play a significant role in your session and in your overall social media presence. In my experience as a branding photographer I have come up with my top four reasons on how to use them and why you need to curate your props :

  • Choose your props wisely to make sure they are “on brand”
  • Props give you a chance to talk about something specific in your post.
  • Props give your hands something to do when taking your photo.
  • They allow you to incorporate your personal side and talk to more specifics in your online presence
  • Props = content creation.

In case you want to navigate these five tips deeper, I have an article detailing the reasons why I came up with these tips. Jump into this link and let’s get started playing with props: http://shellyniehaus.com/choosing-props-for-your-branding-photo-session/

That’s a wrap for this week!  I am so grateful that you have stopped by my little corner of the internet to learn more about personal branding.  Have we connected on social media yet?  If not, what are you waiting for?  You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.  I would love to connect with you and know more about you as well!  I hope you will send me a DM so we can continue the conversion offline!
