2018 is my year of doing something hard. I knew it had to be something that pushed me out of my comfort zone. In my personal life + business I knew it was time to tackle video. Family video is such am amazing tool to help us tell our stories. Whether it is a time capsule video for our my own children, a senior, a newborn or a promotional video for a business, the connection + emotional response that video has on your audience is so much more powerful. Video is your life put into motion and captures all of the little things that we will soon forget. My personal “why” in taking video is because I want to preserve authentic memories for my boys. I want them to know that they were fiercely loved and that we shared some happy time together as a family.
I have been making video time capsules for my own family, however I also wanted to try to incorporate this option for a client. This week I was honored to do the promotional video for Megan Fish and her Life + Faith & Their Messy Mingling blog. Megan is a lifestyle + faith blogger and hosts a weekly FB Live video to discuss the big stuff and the little stuff that goes into our blending of life and faith. She wanted a video that would connect her followers with her message that authentic faith + life is important and mingling them together is beautiful.
