This year I decided to do a different version of a personal photo project, the Top Nine Photography Project. Each month I choose the top nine best photos and curate them into a three by three grid on Instagram.
The winter months in Texas are the hardest for me to photograph. I have tried for years to get inspired to do low light images but they don’t work for my style. Therefore, when my husband suggested a trip to San Francisco I was ALL IN. I absolutely love travel photography and it gave me a chance to try some street photography as well. My goal with this project is to capture fewer images but make them really good. Try to make these images look like I want them to look and say what I want them to say. My ultimate desire was to express what it truly felt like to be in these moments. I feel like these February images did just that.
