Welcome Baby Boy Eight Days Old
This mom and dad are so excited to welcome their sweet little boy who was just eight days old at his session. Baby Levi is one of the most awake and alert newborns that I have ever seen. I am just smitten with his beautiful eyes and silky hair.
Lifestyle sessions are unique in that they don’t require the baby to sleep for the portraits. Baby and mom have the freedom and flexibility to be just as they are. Some babies prefer to be held in their parents arms for most of the session and others are fine being swaddled and photographed alone. The beauty of these types of sessions is that it doesn’t matter. Natural connections, real life moments are what lifestyle newborn sessions are all about. I love to get dad holding his baby in the first days. Capturing that special moment that dad has for waited nine long months. Another highlight is siblings admiring their newest addition while everyone is still in the process of trying to figure each other out. It’s a time with so many emotions and moments. These moment + little details will soon slip away if not captured in photos. I hope that this sweet family looks back on their session and remembers what those beautiful first days at home were like.
