A Week in the Life {Prosper Lifestyle Photographer}

Recently my good friend and fellow photographer Monica McNeal challenged me to do a “Week in The Life” of my family as a Prosper lifestyle photographer personal project.  The goal was to capture the daily routines little stories that define our family and this particual season of life.  This storytelling project is an extended version of a Day in The Life that I did last May.  I decided that back to school week would be the perfect time to do this project since it is an event that takes place in our life every year at this time.

Some of my favorite images from the week are those of my husband and kids and the little routines that make up our daily life. Basketball on the driveway after dinner, the boys wresting in their room and playing legos. These family stories that seem so regular, routine and mudane will be wonderful memories in the coming year.  I love that my kids will have these storytelling photographs for the rest of their lives. I maybe have one back to school snapshot from each year in the 80’s and 90’s.  I love that modern technology allows us to give our kids so much more.  This project was such a hit at our house that we will be doing it every year as a back to school tradition.
