My son who just turned nine this week loves to play lacrosse. He has played five seasons and this third grade season was his as goalie. I love to do a lifestyle session around the boy’s birthday to remind us of all the things that were special about childhood and that age. This year we decided to take lacrosse portraits. 🙂 He literally gave me five minutes because he was much more interested in actually playing with the stick than letting mom take photos with her camera. I love that these images are playful and show his genuine personality and love of the game. I’m going to miss spending our weekends at the lacrosse fields. Until next season!
