What are Simply Modern School Portraits?
Simply Modern School Portraits is a boutique service with a contemporary approach to school photography. My passion is working with children and I feel that each family deserves to have an artistic + timeless portrait of their child. Unlike large companies that do a high volume of work, I book a limited amount of schools each year. My services are both personal and professional every step of the way. I also donate 10% of my proceeds to the schools that I photograph!
How is it different?
My photography style is simple + honest. Children are never forced to smile under bright lights in front of busy backgrounds. Portraits are taken with natural light against a simple background and my goal is to capture the essence of each child. I provide a light-hearted + fun experience and encourage each child to relax and be themselves. My approach is a fresh, modern way to provide school portraits to families.
Who is it for?
Simply Modern School Portraits are available to preschools, charter schools, daycares, private schools and home school groups in the Frisco, McKinney, Prosper, Celina, and surrounding areas. I work with each school to schedule a date during the academic calendar year that is best for them.
What services do you offer?
- Shoot days are seamless, pricing is competitive and all ordering services are done online.
- Each family will receive a password protected gallery to view and make their selections. I provide a minimum of 2-3 images of each child in both color and black and white.
- The family may choose the photos that they want to be printed from their personal gallery, as opposed to having the pose chosen for them. In addition to standard prints, I also provide boutique product choices such as canvas gallery wraps and high-resolution digital images.
- A detailed PDF or web link with all of the ordering details and shooting day preparation will be provided for the school to send to the families prior to the shoot.
- Prints are shipped directly to the parent’s home.
- A-la-carte ordering is recommended so that families can order the prints in a format that best suits their needs. However, custom packages can be designed if a school requests that in advance.
- I provide all equipment and personnel needed for photo day.
- I handle any questions from parents about ordering products.
- Staff members are provided with photos and a complimentary print package.
- I provide the school with all high-resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, website, school advertising, school ID’s, or any other use the school deems necessary.
Are these photos expensive?
I have competitive rates and nothing is due up front. All payments are made when the orders are placed after the online proofing gallery is delivered. I offer a variety of collections and a-la-carte products to fit everyone’s needs.
