I get asked quite often about the best locations for senior + family sessions. While a lot of things need to be taken into consideration, one of the most important is a location that has a personal meaning for you. This downtown + silos senior girl session in Prosper, TX does just that for this gorgeous young lady.

Think about all of the places that hold a special place in your heart. Why they are important and what you would like to remember about them? What do you want to preserve as it is in this moment of time? Your high school campus? The quaint little downtown area? You neighborhood hangouts? Those are the places that I love to incorporate into senior sessions.
Taylor has attended all four years of high school in our little town of Prosper, TX. We currently only have one high school which still holds an over the top homecoming parade each fall. Present day Prosper reminds me so much of my little town of Grapevine, TX in the early 90’s. However, like Grapevine back then, our town is growing and changing rapidly. I don’t even recognize the town of my youth these days and I know that she will see a similar growth in her lifetime. Her small town will look completely different 20, 10 and even 5 years from now. I love that she wanted to capture the “here and now” of Prosper + what her senior year is all about.

Downtown areas are usually so fun because they have an extensive variety of backgrounds and textures. The possibilities are endless! In just a few short steps were able to achieve all of these different looks for her session. Bright colored buildings + rustic metal and beautiful wood textures. Each set made wonderful backgrounds that give her lots of variety to choose from. The beautiful evening and sunset were icing on the cake
