Christmas In-home Sessions are my absolute favorite type of life inspired sessions! So many of our childhood memories are centered on Christmas and the holidays. What better way to preserve those precious memories for your children + grandchildren than through an in-home session? These sessions are all a mix of traditional portraits + real life moments. We capture everything about your current season of life. I always start with that classic family portrait that everyone wants and then go all out for then fun life inspired images. The we simply embrace the everyday moments and natural family connections. The Christmas decorations, the holiday traditions, baking and family connection are just a few. Siblings working together in the kitchen or mom helping cut sugar cookies will be images that these kids will look back on with love.
In our digital and very mobile society, most of our children will never see the childhood home of our youth. In addition all of our memories are stored in some type of digital space. I am sad that my kids don’t have albums upon albums to look from time to time. I encourage all of you to take some time this season to really capture the environment and everyday life with your family. Capture these memories and print them in a classic book or album that your family will look back on each Christmas and remember the Christmas of 2017! Merry Christmas to all of you!
